I am a digital change agent. I help brands and individuals to stay relevant in an ever-evolving digital economy by applying a multi-disciplined approach across – digital strategy, business development, operations, marketing and sales.

Career Track Record

Started in 2004 as an eCommerce Executive for an Online Travel Agency company and gained experience in PPC Search Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Marketing Automation and Performance Marketing. In 2010, I joined Neo@Ogilvy as the first employee in Sri Lanka to set up a fully-fledged digital agency. I developed digital strategies for local and multinational clients, including Coca-Cola, Mobitel, Etisalat, Fonterra, Nestle, Hemas FMCG, Maliban, DSI and dozens of other clients. I was a part of many Effie Award Winning digital marketing campaigns from 2015 to 2019.

Training & Coaching

Since 2010 I have trained more than 3,000 marketing graduates and marketing professionals for digital marketing. I am the co-founder and the lead trainer of the Asia Pacific Institute of Digital Marketing (APIDM).

I have conducted training sessions and had public speaking engagements in events held in Colombo (Sri Lanka), Mumbai (India), and Phnom Penh (Cambodia). I have mentored more than 50 digital marketing professionals during my career and coached an equal amount of fresh marketing graduates to find their career direction.

Digital Strategy Consulting

After leaving Ogilvy completing a successful 10-year tenure, I started on my own as a digital strategy consultant.I envision helping small to medium-sized businesses to win in the digital economy by sharing the knowledge and experience I gained by working with multinational brands working for a global agency. I have helped form digital communications strategies for small and medium-sized businesses in Sri Lanka, the USA, the UK, and Cambodia in food & beverages, banking & finance, luxury jewellery, telecommunications, manufacturing and eCommerce categories.
